Update - March 1, 2009
A new version of Planigle is now available. It includes the following changes:
- Users can select which attributes to show in the table on the stories tab (including custom attributes) by clicking at the top of the last column.
- Planigle now remembers changes to column width and column ordering on the stories tab.
- All visible stories can be expanded / contracted by clicking at the top of the first column.
- Error messages are now shown when custom list values are invalid on import (previously these were ignored).
Update - February 14, 2009
A new version of Planigle is now available. It includes the following changes:
- Users can now categorize stories based on user defined categories. These categories can be fixed across releases or can vary from release to release (allowing users to capture relationships to themes or epics).
- The iPhone story view (premium feature) now shows the number of tasks completed for each in progress story giving a summary at a glance view of the progress thus far in the iteration.
- If two iterations overlap, the latter one is now shown on the iPhone.
Update - February 1, 2009
A new version of Planigle is now available. It includes the following changes:
- Premium users can now access Planigle via their iPhones.
- Circles have been added to data points on the velocity tracker (premium feature) so that it is easier to see the iterations.
- If iterations are deleted, the velocity tracker is now updated.
- Empty data points have been removed from the velocity tracker.
- Adding / removing teams and individuals now automatically updates the velocity and utilization breakdown (premium feature).
Update - January 17, 2009
A new version of Planigle is now available. It includes the following changes:
- Premium customers can now create and manage multiple projects within Planigle. Each project has its own backlog, schedule and people. Generally speaking, you should create as few projects as possible as consolidating them will help you to determine what's really important. See this blog entry for more on this subject.
Update - January 5, 2009
A new version of Planigle is now available. It includes the following changes:
- Splitting now has an option to abort the old story (changing the size to 0 so it won't affect velocity and moving it to done)
- Tasks can now be dragged from one story to another
- There is now a button to move a story to the top of the list
- Delete confirmation now specifies the name of the item to be deleted
- History button is now located on the edit screen (rather than in the table)
- Story size and task time can now be 0
Update - December 19, 2008
A new version of Planigle is now available. It includes the following changes:
- The Iteration Burndown Chart now burns down based on task completion, not story completion (Premium feature).
- The story/task status "Created" has been renamed to "Not Started".
- Fixed issue where import failed if Owner or Team not set.
- Fixed issue where changing sort on stories to something other than priority and then back prevented user from drag and drop prioritizing.
- Fixed issue where users were not sorting properly based on last login.
Update - December 6, 2008
A new version of Planigle is now available. It includes the following changes:
- Added a change log to keep track of who made what changes to stories, tasks, iterations, etc.
- Added the ability to capture retrospective results for an iteration.
- Changed look and feel to be more like the web site.
- Changed so that adding a task / team automatically expands the containing story / project.
- Changed maximum task name length to 250 (from 40).
Update - November 23, 2008
- Added ability for project admins to define custom attributes on a story (can be a string, text or a number).
- Broke effort into two pieces: Size (high level estimates in release planning) and Time (low level estimates based on tasking out the story).
- Velocity is now based on size. A new item called Utilization tracks current usage vs. previous time allocated. This is now a premium feature.
- Changed velocity allocation / utilization to sort from highest to lowest.
Update - November 9, 2008
A new version of Planigle is now available. It includes the following changes:
- Changed filtering to filter tasks as well. If filtering by owner, a story will show if it or any of its tasks are owned by that user.
- Added ability to include links to URLs in description and other text fields (simply start with http:// or https://).
- Changed so that moving a story to Done automatically moves its tasks to Done.
- Changed so that adding users will default to the team selected above (if any).
Update - October 27, 2008
A new version of Planigle is now available. It includes the following changes:
- Added the ability to import/export to/from CSV (Comma Separated Values) format. This includes the ability to update existing data.
- Changed buttons in upper right part of stories tab (and other tabs) to icons.
- Added Planigle logo to login screen and main screen.
- Fixed issue when using premium version and adding first release or iteration.
